1980s Lanvin by Jules-Francois Crahay Strapless Black Dress w Hip Peplum 1920s and Antique Item# DD2477This dress was designed by Belgian born Jules Francois Crahay, who headed the Lanvin ateliers from 1964 1984. His time at the Lanvin label is one of my personal favourites for the house. He pushed the envelope in terms of using cutting edge fabrics available during this time period and his designs ranged from high fantasy and print work to amazingly wearable and timeless pieces like this. It is stunning in person and think it is even better then the
